Kümes plot

In the 1950s, Saniye and Süleyman lead a quiet life with their three children in a small mountain village. Their house has two rooms, there is another barn and there is a chicken run in the yard. One day Saniye gets the bad news that she has tuberculosis. Thinking she has only a short time to live, she manages to convince her husband, for the sake of the children, to marry again, this time to a woman who cannot have children of her own. Six months later, Saniye is still alive; stronger: the tuberculosis is cured. What now?
