Krücke plot

After the Second World War, many Germans search among the rubble for friends and relatives they have lost sight of. So is Tom (Götz Behrendt), who ended up in Vienna on his desperate quest. There he runs into war invalid Krücke (Heinz Hoenig), who introduces him to the black market, the armies from four countries that rule Vienna after the war, and the Jewish Bronka (Martina Gedeck).
