Two thirty-somethings spend a few nights together awaiting an abortion procedure. She is a teacher who sinks into depression and alcoholism, she spends her evenings in front of the television. He earns his living from marijuana and smokes it himself with his friends to feel better. All their lives they are on the run from responsibility. Now the husband and wife are forced to make a life-changing decision. Over the course of a few days and nights, they begin to see an opportunity for change.
