Krambambuli plot

In and around a Bavarian village around 1900, poachers make their home led by Wolf Pachler. However, the new forester Georg Walch is determined to put an end to that. One day he buys the dog Krambambuli from a completely inebriated Pachler, trains the dog and then uses it against the poachers again. When he also starts an affair with Pachler's wife, the turnips are done.
