Kort Amerikaans plot

The Netherlands 1944. Erik van Poelgeest (Derek de Lint) is a 19-year-old, attractive young man who is just starting his career as an artist. He is a cynical boy who is still haunted by his father's scriptures. He spends his days in a studio where he paints lampshades and at a drawing academy. Through these activities he comes into contact with people who will play an important role in his life.
