Kono Sora no Hana: Nagaoka Hanabi Monogatari plot

Reiko Endo (Matsuyuki) is a reporter for a local newspaper in Amakusa. She goes to visit Nagaoka for several reasons, one of them is why the city of Nagaoka accepted so soon after the earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku to show pictures of the victims. Another reason is a letter she received from ex-boyfriend Kenichi Katayama (Takashima). Katayama works as a high school teacher and writes in his letter about his student Hana Motoki (Terashima), who wrote a play about the bombing of Nagaoka in World War II.
