Koibitotachi plot
Atsushi has a very keen sense of hearing, checking bridges for reliability by listening when he taps them with a hammer. After work, he retires to his dirty, small apartment. There he mourns over his wife who was shot dead on the street three years ago. Toko is a middle-aged woman, her husband pays her little attention and her mother-in-law only complains. She begins an affair with a con man who makes her many promises. Shinomiya is an arrogant gay lawyer with a younger friend whom he mistreats. When his life goes wrong, he looks for an ex who is now married to a woman and has a child.
