Knights & Emeralds plot
"The joy of "Fame," the energy of "Footloose""
Kevin lives with his father in a poor neighborhood in Birmingham and is a talented drummer with the Knights, the local music corps. However, the inspiration and musicality are hard to find with the Knights. Kevin hopes that the arrival of the Emeralds, a group of majorettes, will change this and that Tina, the most beautiful majorette, will see him. However, that does not happen and Kevin, disillusioned, seeks out the company of the Crusaders, a band that consists entirely of black youth. There he meets Melissa and soon they spend a lot of time together.
