Kinkakuji plot

After the death of his father, Goichi Mizoguchi, plagued with a speech impediment, takes refuge in Buddhism. However, he soon finds out that his expectations are different from reality. Like all over the country, social unrest has reached the temples and Mizoguchi becomes convinced that all lofty values within Buddhism are disappearing.
