Killing Moon plot

A deadly virus has to be transported by plane to a laboratory on the other side of the United States, but on board the container accidentally breaks and the passengers are infected with the virus. The US government shows little interest in the lives of the passengers and first and foremost wants to try to eradicate the virus. And all means are allowed.
