Killer McCoy plot
"His NEW sensational Role!"
Tommy McCoy hosts a variety show in a cheap nightclub with his alcoholic father Brian. Johnny Martin, a lightweight boxing champion who is also part of the show, tells Tommy that he may have a brighter future in the boxing ring because of his excellent footwork. Tommy makes the transition from dancer to boxer and it doesn't take long before he becomes a successful boxer. After a hard fight for the lightweight title, which Tommy wins, he is dubbed "Killer" McCoy by the press and boxing fans. Tommy then has to deal with the unscrupulous boxing manager and gambler Jim Caighn, who has him participate in dubious matches.
