Kherboucha plot
At the end of the 19th century, Kherboucha was born in the traditional village of Oulad Zayd, known for its serenity and tranquility. Kherboucha develops into a beautiful singer and poet, gaining fame for her incomparable voice and songs about death. In her songs, Kherboucha condemns the barbaric tyranny of the oppressive regime, which ruled during the time of the so-called “Year of 'Siba'. On the other side of the region, another tribe called 'Tamra' lives under the yoke and oppression of “Caid, Aissa Tamri”. The latter has captured Kherboucha, who does not want to part with the songs about death.
