Kei Wong plot

The first part of the film follows the 'Chess Master' in communist China in the 1960s. The Chess Master is known for his ability to predict the future, so he soon has to deal with a number of unsavory characters. The second part is set in present-day Taiwan, where a television show takes it upon itself to turn a young lad into the new Chess Master.
