Kayo Kayo Colour? plot

Which Colour? shows the daily life of a large working-class family in a Muslim neighborhood on the outskirts of Ahmedabad on what will later prove to be a historic day. We see a woman get up early to do the housework, while her husband tries to find money to buy an auto rickshaw and their children play gender-segregated games. Public spaces are brought to life by screaming students, a mother folding clothes with a daughter who escaped the ghetto and a girl staying with her grandparents - everyday things that transform into animated expressions of community life.
