Katen no Shiro plot
The mighty daimyo Oda Nobunaga (Kippei Shiina) asks master carpenter Mataemon to build a castle on the edge of Lake Biwa. It has to be the most beautiful castle ever constructed in Japan, but with a construction time of only three years. Mataemon accepts the assignment, but when he has to present his design, it turns out that Oda Nobunaga has also asked two other top architects to make a design.
