Kasauti plot

Neeta and Sapna are two friends who live in Bombay, India. Neeta is married to an employee, who can no longer use his legs after an accident, but later also becomes blind. Sapna, whose father has passed away, now lives with her mother and her foster father, Pramod. To earn money to live, Neeta goes into prostitution and wants Sapna to improve her lifestyle. However, Sapna accompanies her and is molested by one Heera and then rescued by the taxi driver Amitabh Sharma. Amitabh and Sapna fall in love and want to get married. Before they have a chance, Sapna is arrested by the police for assaulting Pramod and is prosecuted in court, where she remains silent and is then sentenced to six months in prison. When she is released, Amitabh tells her that her mother has been arrested and is serving a life sentence for the murder of Pramod. When Amitabh and Sapna are about to get married, Amitabh's father objects to this marriage...
