Kaitei kara Kita Onna plot

Toshio is the only living male relative of a once great fishing family. All the male family members lost their lives when they were shipwrecked and swallowed by the waves. One day, Toshio encounters a beautiful and mysterious young woman alone at sea. He falls madly in love with her, but the woman has rather strange habits. For example, she has a penchant for chewing live fish. Some other fishermen in the village have their reservations about the woman. Could she possibly have something to do with the shipwreck?
