Kai Apkabinsiu Tave plot

1961, Berlin. A father and daughter try to see each other again after fate kept them seventeen apart. The father lives in Lithuania and the daughter lives as an immigrant in the United States and the Cold War is about to break out. From the moment the father arrives in Berlin, KGB agents try to placate him, as well as the daughter, who they want to persuade to defect to them. However, the city is filled with a suspicious atmosphere and father and daughter are even willing to call off their long-awaited meeting.
