Just Married plot

Friedrich (Herbert Fritsch), a young film producer, marries Frangipani (Laura Tonke), the daughter of a wealthy owner of a large number of cinemas. Friedrich himself also owns a number of cinemas, so that with this marriage the largest cinema chain in Germany is a fact. From the start there are tensions between the two newlyweds, but when it turns out that Friedrich has a girlfriend, things go really wrong. Frangipani wants a divorce, but it is her dying father's last wish that the two stay together.
