Jumping for Joy plot

United States, 1964. Bobbie Dean is a boyish girl with an enormous talent for basketball. Because she is a girl, she hardly gets to play. She is only allowed to participate in 'girl's basketball', which has more flexible rules and is really not taken seriously by anyone. When Bobbie helps her father deliver an order, she sees some boys playing basketball. They think she is a boy and when they see her playing, she is invited to join their college team. When her secret finally gets out, there are those who want to prevent her from playing basketball with men at all costs.
