Jugyôryô plot
Eleven-year-old Yeong-dal does not have an easy life. He has been abandoned by his parents and his grandmother is ill. His Japanese teacher Mr. Dashiro asks every student for tuition fees. Yeong-dal doesn't have this money, just like he doesn't have the rent that the landlord keeps asking for. His girlfriend Jeong-hui also has no tuition fees and they both want to learn. Together they look for a solution.
