Judith Therpauve plot
She is in her 50s, Judith Therpauve and lives alone in the countryside, in a house inherited from her husband, a resistance fighter who died during the war. One day she is visited by some friends who ask her to take over the management of a newspaper that was founded during the war. The current director is dying, and the newspaper is in financial trouble and could be bought by a competitor. Judith accepts the challenge, and tries to improve the future for the newspaper. But the staff does not agree with all her measures, and one of her editors quits and helps set up a competing newspaper.
