Jud Süß - Ein Film als Verbrechen? plot

In 1949, German director Veit Harlan (Axel Milberg) was sued for his film Jud Süss, a notorious piece of propaganda that was compulsory reading for the SS and watched by millions of Germans. The prosecution wants to hold Harlan responsible for the horrific consequences his film helped cause. However, he defends himself by pointing out that the film is a product of a large group of people, and that propaganda minister Joesph Goebbels bears the most blame.
