Juan Topocho plot

The film describes the adventures of a Juan Topocho, a gentle and helpful farmer, who leaves his village after the death of his mother and on arrival in the capital is elevated against his will into a kind of saint who performs miracles. It comes to a clash between established religious ideas and Juan's own faith.
