Journey of the Heart plot

Janice (Cybill Shepherd) is the talk of the town in the village where she has lived for years. According to her fellow townspeople, who more or less ignore her, she wears too much make-up and too flashy clothes. She is a single mother of two sons who are both not easy at all. Her youngest son is a real doerak and the oldest autistic. One day, an amazing thing happens: the autistic boy suddenly sits down at the piano and plays a nursery rhyme that Janice has been singing to him for years. She now knows for sure that there is hope for him and that their family may start to have a better life.
