Journey from the Fall plot
"They lost everything but hope."
The Vietnam Civil War ended on April 30, 1975. Hundreds of thousands of refugees leave the devastated country. Long (Long Nguyen) decides to stay in Vietnam and is arrested, after which he is imprisoned in a camp. His wife, child and mother then flee to America in the hope of finding freedom there.
