Jmeno Kodu: Rubin plot
A young couple, Michal and Ruby, embark on a mysterious journey through Prague, traditionally a center of alchemy, in search of a mystical stone once owned by a noted philosopher. Part occult quest, part archaeological journey through Europe in the 20th century, the film explores past and present as highly volatile substances that are constantly changing, usually in a negative way. As Michal and Ruby discover ghosts of the Third Reich in both contemporary and ancient Prague, the film emerges as an experimental, or alchemical, blend of documentary, archival material and fiction, making it as layered, confusing and eventful as history itself.
