Jinsei, Irodori plot

Set in the small village of Kamikatsu, where 48% of the population is elderly. Since the mandarin trade has come to a standstill, the village seems to be slowly but surely withering. Eda, who works at the National Cooperative Agriculture Federation, comes up with a plan to sell vegetable vegetables to stimulate the village. The residents do not think it is a good plan, but 3 women stand up for the proposal.
