Jinrui Shikin plot
Yuichi Mafune (Kôichi Satô) is known as a stockbroker but in reality he is a con man. One day, two men appear before Yuichi; "M" and his subordinate, Yuki Seki. The men demand that Yuichi steal the so-called "M Fund". According to a legend, the "M Fund" is a gigantic amount of gold and other stolen goods, captured during WWII. The fund is said to have been hidden in the basement of a Japanese bank, and then confiscated by the Allies to finance secret missions.
