Jeanne la Pucelle I - Les Batailles plot
France, 1429. Jeanne, a simple farmer's daughter from a village in the Vosges, goes to the court of King Charles VII. She informs the king that she is coming to help him in his fight against the English and she says that heavenly voices are guiding her. The king is impressed by her and she is allowed to go to Orléans. When Joan of Arc arrives there to assist the king's army in battle against the much larger English army, a minor miracle seems to take place.
