Jazireh Ahani plot
A slow-sinking oil tanker in the Persian Gulf serves as a shelter for several hundred homeless Iranians. The ship is under the command of Captain Nemat who rules his mini-company with a strict hand. Not only does he command the tanker, he also arranges marriages, economic traffic and the way to the mosque. No one challenges Nemat's authority except the youth Ahmad, who keeps a close watch on the captain's corridors. After all, it is only a matter of time before the tanker goes down. So what?
