Järnets Änglar plot

In a snowy industrial town in northern Sweden, three women live in different stages of life: a lonely, middle-aged single mother, an optimistic and outspoken woman who takes care of her father; and a pretty young girl who dreams of becoming a songwriter. All three are different but have two things in common; all three work at the local steel mill and are members of the same band, their concerts seeming to be the only moments where they really come alive.
