Ivan Syn Amira plot

During the Second World War, a Russian woman from Sevastopol flees with her two children from the oncoming violence. The Uzbek Amir with his two wives gives her shelter in a remote village. Amir doesn't fight in the war because, as he puts it himself: 'don't like killing people!' In taking care of the Fatherland, he mainly sees taking care of his two wives and his third wife, the Russian woman, her children and their son Ivan. After the war, however, the Russian woman's supposedly dead husband comes to collect her and their children.
