Itaker - Vietato agli Italiani plot

Nine-year-old Pietro's mother has passed away and he wants to look for his father who once went to work abroad. He is accompanied by Benito, a young man who declares that he is a friend of Pietro's father and someone with a dubious past, who wants to seek satisfaction in Germany. On their way through Germany, Pietro and Benito experience two worlds. That of the 'Itakers' - Italians who work in Bochum - and that of the “Magliari”: the smugglers.
