Isztambul plot

After her husband leaves her after thirty years of marriage and raising her two children, Katalin (Johanna ter Steege) finds herself in a mental crisis. Father and daughter think Katalin is a mad actress and don't take her seriously. Fifty-year-old Katalin then decides to look for a new life. Her nose and coincidence bring her to Istanbul unexpectedly. There she finds her new love in a Turkish man. But her son - a late teenager - is angry with his father and sister for how they treated mother. The son goes looking for her. However, Katalin doesn't want to know her son anymore and she tries to forget her former life. Her son must ensure a solution to this conflict.
