Yehia is a filmmaker who joins a hunger strike organized by technicians protesting the injustices in the Egyptian film industry. While fighting for better conditions for his colleagues, Yehia finds himself obsessed with both Amir, a handsome young man who starred in one of his previous films, and Nadia, a beautiful woman he hopes to cast in his next film.
