"IT'S GAY IN A GREAT BIG WAY!"
Band leader Ted Lewis is performing at a San Francisco nightclub when he receives an invitation from a colonel to visit a nearby army camp. There, Ted meets a young soldier who organizes a band and imitates his songs. The young man, however, looks familiar to Ted. He finds out after an investigation that he is Frank Stewart Jr. is, the son of entertainer Jerry Stewart, his former partner from the early days of his career when it was still surviving. Ted then invites Frank and his beloved Ann to be his guests at the nightclub.
