"Humanity dwells in the most unexpected places."
In 1978 Bulgaria is dominated by a repressive and brutal communist regime. Boris Radulov, known as Bohemy, is in prison. He seems a little different from the other killers and rapists who surround him. He was apparently framed for murder because of his political beliefs. The director summons him and offers him early release if Bohemy can assemble a team that can double the production of the local Kremikovtsy steel plant. Bohemy agrees, but sets one condition.
