In Old California plot

Aboard a stagecoach to California, a man and a female passenger begin a flirtation, which is interrupted when a gang of robbers attacks the carriage. They are rescued by a dashing cowboy who immediately wins the woman's heart, much to the man's dismay. Unwilling to give up so easily, the man invites the woman, her gambler father, and the handsome cowboy to his father's home. The evening gets tense when the men start a game of poker, which escalates when the man's father loses his ranch to the gambler.
