Imburnal plot
A film without a plot, about the poverty and violence in the slums of Davao on the southern island of Mindanao in the Philippines. Most scenes take place in the sewers of Punta Demalog, where they prefer to be. They speak in dialect and talk about what concerns them: sex, phalluses and pubic hair, among other things. In more veiled terms, political murders, the plague and homosexuality are discussed. The film focuses on two boys and how they are influenced by their environment.
