"Loren and Burton and Romance"
The Sicilian count Cesare Braggi is in love with Adriana de Mauro, but on his father's deathbed he has to promise that he will marry her to his brother Antonio. De Mauro is actually in love with Cesare, so the marriage with Antonio brings little luck. Then the latter is killed in a car accident, so that De Mauro and Cesare think they can still be together, but she now suffers from an incurable disease.
