Il Venditore di Palloncini plot

A great clown is married to a woman who gives him a son. They work for a small group in the province, but gradually they have less success. The woman runs off with another, leaving her husband and son behind. Later, the son uses his puppet show to scrape together money for himself and his parents, who have become suspicious alcoholics. He would like nothing more than to see them together again.
