Il Turno plot

Anna and Lucia are two women in their twenties. One is of Italian and the other of Nigerian descent. They take turns caring for Maria, a bedridden old lady who lives in a large, outdated and quiet house. Anna takes care of Maria during the day, while Lucia works the night shift. The Changing of the Guard is the only time the two young women meet. But in that short span of time, the differences between them flare up every day, in a conflict in which each - one at the expense of the other - claims its own position in the world.
