Il Tempo del Ritorno plot

Luca (Stefano Abbati) works as a radio deejay and is snatched from his self-imposed isolation when his friend Giovanni (Alberto Di Stasio), maker of TV movies and documentaries, asks for his help in researching for a film, into the dark years of terrorism, around 1975 in Italy. Luca first visits his hometown and his estranged parents, his former maggot activists and his old friend Matteo (Giovanni Visentin), who is hiding because he has betrayed terrorists.
