Il Ritorno plot
Paolo Sanseviero works as a professor at a German university. Because he is more committed to his work than to his wife, the latter eventually decides to leave him. Just then, Paolo receives a message from his brother Antonio that their mother is dying. Martina decides to put her feelings aside and accompany her husband to Italy. The journey becomes a rollercoaster of feelings, and once there, a big surprise awaits them.
