Il Primo Incarico plot
Nena, a woman from the south of Italy, has to move quite a distance to get her first job as a teacher. She is very sad, not because she leaves her mother and sister, but because she is in a serious relationship with a man and they promise each other that nothing will change between them. She thinks she won't have to stay there long because she can apply for a transfer. But when she arrives at the school, it turns out to be a huge disaster: the school is isolated on a mountain, the children are wild and she has nothing in common with the people. On a cold February day, everything seems to go completely wrong, but Nena discovers that it really isn't.
