Il Mangiatore di Pietre plot
In a remote mountain valley in Piedmont, Italy, Cesare, just released from prison, finds the body of his cousin Fausto. The former smuggler of illegal aliens had once introduced him to this form of trade. Since Fausto started smuggling drugs across the border, the two have not spoken to each other. When the police begin to investigate the murder case, Cesare quickly becomes the prime suspect. Sonia di Meo, a chief detective from Milan, trusts the lonely widow more than the local police chief. She suspects that he is in cahoots with the drug smugglers.
