Il Gobbo plot

A disfigured young man, mainly out of resentment against society, has joined the resistance in Rome and is repelled by the partisans. He single-handedly kills a fascist and falls in love with his daughter. After the liberation he goes into crime. The girl becomes a prostitute in order to pay for her departure from Italy. However, the police are chasing them.
