Il Giovane Favoloso plot
Giacomo Leopardi is a child prodigy who grows up under the strict influence of his father, in a house that is also a library. His mind wanders, but the house is a prison. He reads everything, but the world is outside. Things change in Europe, revolutions break out, and Giacomo desperately tries to contact the outside world. At the age of 24 he finally leaves Recanati and Italian high society opens its doors to him.
