Ikonostasat plot

At the end of the 19th century, a sculptor arrives in a town to create the iconostasis of a new church. He is housed in the home of a respected family. He works slowly because of his love for the daughter of his hosts. They resist in every possible way and pay a high price for it. Will the master finish the iconostasis?
